Whether a standalone optical system or part of a complex electro-optic instrument, AOS can design and manufacture your advanced optical assembly requirements. Advanced CAD tools – such as Zeemax and OptiCAD - are used to complement more traditional design techniques.

Examples of our capability include the design of a “top-hat” optic, based on a diffractive lens design, to meet stringent eye-safety requirement together with a challenging functional specification and a miniature, high temperature optical fibre collimator assembly, using sapphire ball lenses.
